Earl's Court · SW5

Let us know
what needs painting.

Describe the rooms, shared areas or exterior elements you have in mind. Tell us whether the property is occupied, awaiting a new tenancy or being released between guest bookings, and include any dates that shape the brief.

Introduce your property

The address and a short account of the work are enough to open the conversation.

Read our privacy policy about how we handle your enquiry.

Show the frontage, then the detail.

For an Earl's Court terrace, start with a photograph of the whole frontage: the entrance portico, sash windows, railings and any painted brickwork. Then add close views of flaking paint, cracked render or staining, and say which elements you want included. Inside a converted flat, photograph the cornices, doors and skirting that belong to the original house separately from later partitions and fitted joinery. Existing paint references or colour cards are useful too. Photographs help frame the questions for an inspection; they cannot confirm the condition of every surface or show whether a repair is needed before painting.

Tell us who shares the building.

Many Earl's Court houses are now divided into flats, and some streets also have guest houses and small hotels. Say whether the work covers your own flat, the common parts or both. For a communal stair, name the freeholder, managing agent or residents' association contact who can approve the colours and the scope. For a rental flat, give the date the keys become available and when the next tenancy or let begins. For guest accommodation, say which rooms can be closed and for how long, leaving time for cleaning and inspection before guests return.

Describe the route from the street.

Say which floor the work is on, whether there is a lift and how the entrance steps, hallway and stairs are arranged. On a busy road such as Earls Court Road or Warwick Road, deliveries and any access equipment need more planning than on a quieter garden square, so mention where vehicles usually stop. If a parking suspension, highways licence or consent has already been discussed with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, include the reference. Give your preferred dates and any work by other trades that must finish first, so the quotation can set out the preparation, finishes and sequence clearly.
